Fashion Collections
My collections aim to reimagine materials by breaking them down into their basic components in order to reconstruct functional garments with new identities and meaningful stories.

Initially requested for Scarlette Magazines Autumn 2024 sustainability issue, this collection is meant to depict the consequences of microplastic, chemical dye, or other industry leached pollution. As my designs serve as visuals, they each reflect different perspectives and collective urge viewers to consider their impact, keep the ocean beautiful, and redefine new futures for materials. Furthermore, each garment in this collection is made completely from plastic grocery bags, packaging tape, wire, and fishnets.

Titled "Natural Beauty", this collection illustrates the beauty in even the blandest objects. Paper bags, beige and rectangular, are typically disregarded, used as a base to carry items of higher value such as groceries or drawings. But even so, paper posses unique characteristics, different from other mediums like fabric. Paper can be folded, intricately cut, and manipulated into structures that even the stiffest fabric can't hold. So as you watch the progression of this collection, my designs will define themselves, drawing attention to their unique attributes and emphasizing that a paper bag always possessed the qualities that made it more than a base. Qualities that make it naturally beautiful.

Growing up watching si-fi movies, they always depicted the future in the same sense: humanoid robots with silver plated body parts or vibrantly dressed in shiny technologically innovative clothing. My collection aimes to bring this future to life. Titled "Year 3000", I focused on textures, colors, structures, and accessories that would fully immerse the audience into this altered reality.
